SUMMARY:Portuguese RDM Forum
DESCRIPTION:The 12th GDI Forum will take place in person at the Polytechnic
  Institute of Bragança. As in previous years\, the programme will span tw
 o days. It will include technical workshops\, short talks and poster prese
 ntations on projects and best practices\, a ‘Coffee with Data’ session
  and panel discussions.
 This year\, the forum will take place as part of
  the activities of the ReData project – Network for Research Data Manage
 ment – enabling a number of synergies that will greatly benefit this joi
 nt event.
 The aim of the annual GDI Forum event is to bring together and
  motivate the community of professionals and researchers involved in activ
 ities supporting research data management\, with the aim of developing tec
 hnical skills\, leveraging knowledge and practices\, and promoting awarene
 ss of national initiatives.
 It is a space for training and discussion to
  exchange ideas\, new initiatives\, projects and best practices in support
  of research data management. The aim is to bring together managers of dig
 ital repositories and data centres\, information technicians\, librarians\
 , archivists and data curators\, IT specialists\, researchers\, data scien
 tists and science managers from research institutions and science funding 
 organisations.
