CLARIN ERIC (CLARIN)

CLARIN stands for Common Language Resources and Technology Infrastructure. It is a digital infrastructure which provides easy and sustainable access to a broad range of language data and tools to support research in the humanities and social sciences, and beyond. CLARIN provides access to multimodal digital language data (text, audio, video) and advanced tools with which to explore, analyse or combine these datasets. CLARIN is a distributed digital infrastructure, with participating centres all over Europe; its network of trusted reporitories offer depositing services and support for DMPs.
Role in the project
CLARIN is actively engaged in developing the SKGs interoperability framework and OSTrails Interoperability Reference Architecture (WP1), both independently and in collaboration with OEAW; CLARIN participates in Thematic Pilots (WP4). In partnership with OEAW, CLARIN concentrates on aligning SKG platforms and coordinating the alignment of supporting services and resources (WP2); CLARIN serves as the leader of WP5 about community engagement, supervises user engagement, and participates in activities of the Liaison Office; Contributes to technical management, guarantees quality assurance, and contributes to establishing governance to ensure the project results' sustainability beyond its completion (WP6).
