These pilots delivered the first comprehensive integration of the three Interoperability Frameworks (DMP-IF, SKG-IF, FAIR-IF), demonstrating the complete Plan–Track–Assess pathway in an operational context. As Horizon Europe represents the most advanced implementation of Open Science policy, with mandatory Data Management Plans (DMPs) and FAIR data requirements, it provided an ideal testbed to validate whether the frameworks could connect to deliver end-to-end solutions from planning through assessment.
