19th International Digital Curation Conference

The OSTrails project will be represented at the IDCC conference through a poster presentation, highlighting the project's contributions to enhancing FAIRness and machine actionability of digital research artefacts.
What the Poster Will Cover
- Project Overview: The goals of OSTrails in building a FAIR-enhanced, interconnected, and machine-actionable environment for scientific research.
- Plan-Track-Assess Pathways, which describe how OSTrails integrates Data Management Plans (DMPs), Scientific Knowledge Graphs (SKGs), and FAIR assessment tools to streamline research workflows. The pathways address key use cases such as:
- Creating machine-actionable DMP templates
- Evaluating and publishing DMPs
- FAIRification of digital artefacts
- Enhancing interoperability with SKGs through qualified references
- These pathways map out user actions, service interactions, and automated workflows that facilitate efficient research management and data sharing.
- The latest version of the OSTrails Architecture and Interoperability Framework, along with an initial set of the “Commons”, designed to enable seamless integration and information exchange between SKGs, DMPs, and FAIR assessment tools.
Join us at the conference to learn more about how OSTrails is advancing Open Science through innovative pathways and tools!
OSTrails Partner Contributions at the Conference
At the conference, OSTrails partners will showcase tools that enhance FAIRness, interconnectivity, and machine-actionability in research. ARGOS, connected to the OpenAIRE Graph, will highlight its role in managing DMPs and SMPs, promoting FAIR principles and enabling interoperability with DMP platforms, SKGs, and FAIR assessment tools. Both tools contribute to OSTrails' Plan-Track-Assess framework, driving Open Science innovation across European use cases. DAMAP will present its approach to creating machine-actionable DMPs (maDMPs) integrated with CRIS infrastructures, supporting automated, FAIR-aligned research workflows.
