Role in the project

ESRF is involved in the activities in the SKGs interoperability framework (WP1) and engages in efforts related to the alignment of SKG platforms (WP2); participates in activities concerning assessment services tailored to specific domains and digital objects, with a focus on enhancing "assessment" with "guidance" (WP3); Engages in the implementation of Thematic Pilots (WP4); co-creates a training and integrated competence centre, and contributes to the development of tools, guidance, and best practices for researchers, developers, and data stewards (WP5); Supports in overseeing technical management, ensuring quality assurance, and establishing the governance structure crucial for the continuous adoption, sustainability, updating, and curation of OSTrails results beyond the project's completion (WP6).
