Am I FAIR? How can I know?

The FAIR-IF attempts to harmonize the way that FAIR assessment tools behave, such that your choice of tool becomes less important than your choice of benchmarks. Moreover, if all goes well, the FAIR assessment tools will be mostly “hidden” within other tools such as DMP authoring environments, so that you are not even aware that you are using them.
This session will discuss the overall conceptual framework for testing; how a specific test relates to a Metric, how a Metric relates to a Benchmark, and how to retrieve metadata about each of these entities. We will also discuss the degree to which you are already able to invoke FAIR assessments at the Metric level, and how we plan to build the final stage where community-specific benchmarks can be authored and executed over your digital objects. Finally, we will describe our vision for embedding advice into the output from an assessment, so that it evolves from judgement to assistance.
DMP IF: Unified interface for machine-actionability of DMP platforms

DMP IF (Data Management Planning Interoperability Framework) enhances research data management by enabling seamless integration across tools and platforms. This session will introduce the motivation behind DMP IF, highlighting the need for better interoperability in data management planning. We will present its key components and explain how they align with the Plan-Track-Assess framework to support the full research lifecycle. The session will also provide an overview of the current state of DMP IF, showcasing existing implementations and collaborations. Finally, we will outline planned developments and future directions, including efforts to improve standardization, automation, and broader adoption.
Join us to learn how DMP IF is shaping the future of data management by fostering interoperability and improving research workflows.
Interoperability head-first with the SKG-IF

The Scientific Knowledge Graph - Interoperability Framework (SKG-IF) defines a set of guidelines enabling seamless information exchange and semantic interoperability between diverse initiatives exposing, using or remixing Scientific Knowledge Graphs.
This session will inform the audience about the main components of the SKG-IF, namely the core data model, the interoperability framework, the APIs specifications, and the devised mechanism to customise and extend the SKG-IF according to community needs and requirements.
