The future of research(er) assessment

This year's conference is looking at the various components of research and researcher assessment processes. In particular there will be three sessions and one panel discussion. The sessions focus on reforming research assessment, how assessment affects researchers' careers and of course, research grant asssessment. The sessions will be followed by a panel discussion on the theme of the conference which is the future of research(er) assessment.

National open research festival

The Royal Irish Acacemy is organising the inaugural National Open Research Festival to discuss all maters around Open Science, Open Research and its individual components: open access to research publications, Research Assessment, Community Practice as well as the launch of the Open Research Fund. A LIBER, UNESCO and La Referencia webinar

This event will discuss the progress of monitoring Open Science through various angles that include national contexts, those of France and Finland, the UNESCO recommendations on Open Science, and the current tools and practices that are being developed in Europe, for example, by OpenAIRE.
