DORA AT 10: LOOKING BACK AT THE HISTORY AND FUTURE OF RESEARCH ASSESSMENT

The San Francisco Declaration on Research Assessment (DORA) will celebrate its 10th birthday in May 2023. To mark the occasion, a series of events are organised across the globe that will look back at what the declaration has achieved, and forward to how to collectively address the remaining challenges in reforming research assessment. 

DIFFERENT APPROACHES TO IMPROVING PEER REVIEW

Peer review remains the primary means by which we ensure the quality of research grants and outputs. However, no system is perfect. Peer review could be improved, and there are different schools of thought on how this could be achieved. This event – hosted jointly by UKRN and the Research on Research Institute – will include a series of talks that outline approaches that, in part, reflect these different schools of thought.

BEST PRACTICE AND POSSIBLE PATHWAYS FOR IMPACT 

The Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences, the Swedish Research Council and the EOSC Association invite you to a joint session on the possible pathways for impact to accelerate the transition to Open Science as the norm for scientific publishing. Registration is open until 7 June.

EGI CONFERENCE 2023

EGI2023 will take place in Poznań, Poland – from June 19th to June 23rd. 

INTRODUCTORY WEBINAR

The webinar is jointly organised by the EOSC Association (EOSC-A) and the Data Spaces Support Center (DSSC). It will take place on Monday 26 June, 11:00 - 12:00 CEST, and will offer an introduction to EOSC and the Data Spaces.

OPEN SCIENCE CONFERENCE 2023

The Open Science Conference is an annual international conference dedicated to the Open Science movement. In 2023, the conference will celebrate its 10th anniversary. The conference is a virtual event hosted by the Leibniz Strategy Forum on Open Science and organized under the lead of the ZBW – Leibniz Information Centre for Economics.

19TH INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE ON SCIENTOMETRICS AND INFOMETRICS

The ISSI 2023 Conference welcomes scientists, research managers, authorities and information professionals to engage in an open and proactive debate of the current status and advancements of informetric and scientometric theories and their deployment. The ISSI 2023 conference will be hosted by Indiana University in Bloomington, IN, USA and will take place from 2-5 July 2023.
