This year’s OSFair will take place from September 15 to 17 at CERN in Geneva under the motto “Fusing Forces – Accelerating Open Science through Collaboration”!
OSTrails will be presenting in the “Building the Digital Backbone” track at OSFAIR 2025, contributing to the dialogue on federated and national Open Science infrastructures. The presentation will focus on two key enablers developed by the project: the Interoperability Reference Architecture and the Plan-Track-Assess (PTA) framework. Together, these support the alignment of diverse research services while preserving institutional and domain autonomy. Drawing on 25 real-world pilots and the integration of 80+ tools, the session will demonstrate how OSTrails operationalises interoperability, enhances FAIR practices, and delivers sustainable models for service coordination. By aligning with EOSC principles, OSTrails offers practical pathways to building an inclusive and robust Web of FAIR Data and Services.
