This years International Data Week will be held from 13 to 16 October, 2025 in Brisbane, Australia!

IDW takes place every two years and is the leading international conference on research data. It is jointly organised by the International Science Council’s Committee on Data (CODATA) and World Data System (WDS), and the Research Data Alliance (RDA). It combines the RDA Plenary Meeting, the biannual meeting of this international member organisation working to develop and support global infrastructure facilitating data sharing and reuse, with SciDataCon, the scientific conference addressing the frontiers of data in research organised by CODATA and WDS. The Australian Research Data Commons is delighted to be hosting the conference for the first time in Australia.

This year’s OSFair will take place from September 15 to 17 at CERN in Geneva under the motto “Fusing Forces – Accelerating Open Science through Collaboration”!

OSTrails will be presenting in the “Building the Digital Backbone” track at OSFAIR 2025, contributing to the dialogue on federated and national Open Science infrastructures.

LIBER’s Annual Conference is a key meeting point for research library professionals. The conference brings library directors and their staff together for three days of networking and collaboration. Delegates mainly come from Europe but people from around the world are welcome, and we regularly welcome guests from countries including Australia, Canada and the United States.

The bi-annual Open Repositories conference will take place in Chicago from June 15 to 18 2025 under the motto Twenty Years of Progress, a Future of Possibilities.

Under the motto “Democratic – Diverse – Sustainable” Austrias two main Library associations are inviting you to join the 2nd Austrian Library Congress!

Daniel Spichtinger will present OSTrails and our activities to an audience of library professionals from Austrias public and research libraries on Friday, March 28.

The 19th edition of the International Digital Curation Conference (IDCC25) will take place in The Hague, the Netherlands between 17-19 February 2025.

The main theme of IDCC this year is Twenty years back, twenty years forward: lessons and directions in digital curation.

The OSTrails project will be represented at the conference through a poster presentation, highlighting the project's contributions to enhancing FAIRness and machine actionability of digital research artefacts, with a specific focus on Plan-Track-Assess Pathways.

In addition to the OSTrails project poster, partner presentations will showcase tools supporting FAIRness, interconnectivity, and machine-actionability within Open Science ecosystems.
